  • Will I have lifetime access to the course?

    Yes! You will always have access to the recorded materials, and all tangible resources can be downloaded directly to your desktop!

  • How much experience do I need to freelance?

    That depends on what services you’re offering. We use the term “freelance paralegal” as a general branding term to cover all legal professionals in entrepreneurship, and have found businesses to make millions of dollars simply by offering eFiling services. You should offer the services you feel confident in doing. If you expand, you an bring in other professionals to compliment your business!

  • Do I need to have to be certified as a paralegal or carry minimum educational requirements?

    Nope! In fact, many of our students don’t have a college background, and the instructor, Jaclyn Foster herself does not have any certifications. This will, of course, depend on your state requirements. In Jaclyn’s 300 law firms she has consulted in staffing, only one has demanded an educational requirement for billing purposes.

  • What do freelance paralegals charge?

    It varies drastically from $30 all the way into the hundreds and beyond! This will depend on your practice area, target state, north star client, and experience level, as well as your years in business and how you’ve built demand for yourself over time.

  • Do you teach freelancing to law firms or to the general public?

    Specifically, the course is geared towards teaching paralegals to build freelance businesses to serve law firms and attorneys. However, all course materials can be applied to the paralegal that wants to offer services to the general public or elsewhere (some states allow this in a limited capacity to prepare legal documents as a paralegal through the “scrivener exception: (currently California, Arizona, Florida and North Carolina, (8.2024))

  • Can I start freelancing while still working full time?
